Alegria Residence - Porto

We loved the apartment, it was spacious. Overall experience was perfect.

Location is fantastic, near an iconic metal bridge, maybe 25 mins walk.

Convenient to have a microwave, AC, and a sofa bed here. Plus, it's a nice touch that there's a small kitchen to whip up some meals 🍳. Good spot right in the middle of everything!

Clean property right by the center, Porto and the main shopping district. Met standard, would definitely recommend...

our second stay in porto was simply perfect. the apartment exceeded our expectations with its lovely living room, perfect terrace for morning coffee, and helpful host, carolina. being close to touristy places but experiencing portuguese daily life was a bonus. thank you, carolina, for everything!

Lighting in bedrooms needs improvement.

The bed was very comfortable, the hypoallergenic pillows were a great addition, the kitchenette was convenient, the staff was friendly, and we had a chance to meet the host.

Suits me perfectly, has Wi-Fi, electric kettle, cookware, air conditioning. offers airport shuttle, flat-screen TV, express check-in/out, hiking, fishing, wind surfing. No pets/no smoking. Coming back for trip.

Incredible service and well-equipped apartment. The hosts were always available and provided useful information. Loved the welcome gift of local products and fruit basket. Beds were extremely comfortable and the furnishings were top quality. Great central location, close to shops, restaurants, and transport links. The rooftop balcony was a wonderful addition to enjoy the view.

The only disappointment was not getting the apartment with a balcony. the steep steps to the loft bedroom may be difficult for those with mobility issues or if staying with children.

The apartment was so spacious, I felt like I was in a castle. The separate sitting areas were perfect for when I needed some alone time from my imaginary entourage. And guess what? I had the whole place to myself!

Oh, how I adored carrying my luggage two flights of stairs. Truly, a workout fit for a queen.

The apartment was so big, I needed a GPS just to find my way around. The sitting area was perfect for practicing my royal wave. And the free WiFi? Well, it was almost fast enough for my virtual polo matches.

Just when I was about to show off my balcony to my royal friends, turns out I didn't even have one. How disappointing to not have a private spot for my high tea sessions.

We got excellent value for our money at Alegria Residence. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the facilities we needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to downtown, great restaurants, and a charming neighborhood market. The staff, especially Carolina, were cute and helpful, providing us with recommendations and sweet surprises like delicious Pasteis de Nata.

The breakfast option could have been better by offering a wider variety of choices.
